DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT OrdinaryConvo · ItsAllGoodGames You can permanently delete your OrdinaryConvo account and all data associated with it. There are two ways to do this. OPTION 1 — DELETE IT YOURSELF IN THE APP
- Open OrdinaryConvo and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete Account”.
- Confirm, then enter the 6-digit code we email to your account address.
Your account is deleted immediately once the code is accepted. This cannot be undone. OPTION 2 — REQUEST DELETION BY EMAIL If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email us and we will delete the account for you. Email: itsallgoodgames@gmail.com Subject: Delete my OrdinaryConvo account Send it from the email address registered to the account, so we can confirm the request is genuinely yours. We will action it within 30 days and confirm by reply. WHAT GETS DELETED
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your email address and display name
- All learning progress: topics completed, vocabulary learned, practice streaks, experience points, and grade scores
- Your subscription status record
WHAT WE NEVER STORED IN THE FIRST PLACE
- Voice recordings — transcribed and immediately discarded; never written to our servers
- The text of your practice answers — only the resulting numeric score was ever saved, and that is deleted with your account
DATA WE MAY RETAIN We keep nothing about you after deletion, except where the law requires us to retain records (for example, transaction records held by Apple or Google for tax purposes — those are held by the app stores, not by us). IMPORTANT: DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT DOES NOT CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, so they must be cancelled separately or they will continue to renew:
- iPhone / iPad: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → OrdinaryConvo → Cancel
- Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → OrdinaryConvo → Cancel
