The short version

Its All Good Games is a small independent game studio. This website exists to
show our games and point you to the stores where you can get them. We do not
run ads, we do not sell anything on this site, and we do not sell or share your
personal information.

What we collect

If you do nothing but read the site, we do not ask you for any personal
information. There is no account to create and no form to fill in.

Automatically, like almost every website: our web host records standard
technical information each time a page is requested — your IP address, browser
and device type, the page you asked for, and the date and time. We also use two
plugins that count page views so we can see which games people look at:
WordPress Popular Posts and WP Power Stats. These record the same kind of
technical information. We use it only to understand which pages are popular and
to keep the site working.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We
keep those messages so we can reply and refer back to them.

If you leave a comment (where comments are enabled), WordPress stores the
name, email address and website you enter, along with your IP address and
browser information, and sets cookies in your browser so you do not have to
retype those details next time.

We do not use Google Analytics on this website.

Cookies

Browsing the site does not set advertising or tracking cookies.

Cookies may be set if you leave a comment, as described above, and YouTube may
set cookies in your browser if you press play on a trailer. Your browser will
also cache images and files so pages load faster next time — that is normal
browser behaviour and is not something we control or read.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site
will still work.

Other companies whose content appears here

Some parts of the site are served by other companies, which means those
companies receive your IP address and browser information when the page loads.
We do not control what they do with it.

• Google (YouTube): every game card on our home page shows a still frame
  from that game’s trailer, and those images are loaded from Google’s servers
  (i.ytimg.com). This happens when the page loads, before you click anything.
  If you press play, the video is served by youtube-nocookie.com, which is
  YouTube’s reduced-tracking mode, and YouTube’s own privacy policy then
  applies: https://policies.google.com/privacy
• Font Awesome: icon fonts used by one of our sharing plugins are loaded
  from use.fontawesome.com.

Links to other places

The site links out to the Apple App Store, Google Play, itch.io, IndieDB,
Ko-fi, Discord and YouTube. Once you follow one of those links you are on their
site, under their privacy policy, not ours.

Our mobile apps

This policy covers this website only. Our individual games and apps have their
own privacy policies, which you can find on this site and on their store
listings.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect
personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal
information, email us and we will delete it.

How long we keep things

Server logs and page-view counts are kept only as long as they are useful for
running the site. Emails you send us are kept until we no longer need them.
Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely unless you ask us to remove
them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — for example in the UK, the EU or California — you
may have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold
about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Email
itsallgoodgames@gmail.com and we will action it.

Our lawful basis for the limited data described above is our legitimate
interest in operating and maintaining the website.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
